Monday Morning

Both woke up around 7:30AM, and it was peaceful during the morning hours. Nothing much to report, other than that Malia loves to climb into the cupboards and Aidan wants to follow but he always waits too long. By the time he is ready to follow Malia, she is ready come back out again.

Finally it is Saturday, a time for me to relax and do whatever I want without having to take care of the munchkins. But of course who am I kidding... I've got Malia on my lap and I'm trying to keep her from pulling the keyboard off the desk. Jiko is fixing breakfast. And here are a couple of picture when she was giving them their yogurt this morning. Boy do they love their yogurt.

Well, they slept for a long time, but they are both cranky and whiny right now.
They also caused me a lot of trouble. After they were changed, I had to run to the bathroom myself, and when I came back out again they had gotten a hold of one of their jars of baby food that I had already opened to feed them. Well, you can imagine what a mess that was, especially since it was spaghetti . What a MESS!!!! I should have taken a picture of them sitting in the middle of it all, and Aidan licking the stuff off of his feet, and Malia rubbing it all into her hair. But I didn't think about it until after they were clean and the carpet was cleaned up. Gosh what a job that was. But here is a picture of their outfits.

A New Day

Both woke up around 7:30AM and nothing out of the ordinary happened. They are being their normal inquisitive selves. Malia still trying to squeeze through the railing to go upstairs, and getting squirted with the water bottle doesn't bother her at all. She covers her face and laughs.
So much for that deterrent. ;-)
And of course Aidan keeps trying to get into the big kitchen cupboard.

Come on Oma, feed us already... stop with the camera thing... food food food
Actually, they didn't eat very much, but they did finish their second bottle of the day.

OMG It's STILL Thursday

Malia is a ghost today, and I think Aidan got scared...hahaha Not really, he was just trying to catch her or rather grab the blanket, but of course she outran him.

Still The Same Day

This day is dragging on and on, perhaps because I couldn't sleep last night, even after I took a sleeping pill. I haven't taken one of those in quite a while. So I only got about 3 hours of sleep.
Anyway, Malia and Aidan are up and trying to find trouble. Especially Malia!
I'll be doing my best to post pictures that have been taken at the time of the post or close to it.

Days In Our Lives

Another dollar another day. Wait, I didn't get a dollar, just another day and all the shtuff that goes along with it. Malia woke up little after 7AM and Aidan around 8:30AM. Malia is back in bed and Aidan is telling everybody and every thing NO NO. They have been very good this morning, no fighting, no screaming... but the day is young. ;-)
Both ate really well this morning.

Well, Malia didn't sleep very long at all, she was up by 1Pm... brat...
But at least both of them ate a lot for their afternoon meal.

Babies Babies Babies

12:30PM finally got them to bed again. The babies are really fussy today, and rightly so, they don't want to eat. Malia didn't eat breakfast nor her midmorning meal. Aidan ate some breakfast but not his midmorning meal. Finally for lunch they ate a little bit, but not really enough. I put them to bed with a bottle of milk and a bit of oatmeal in it. Hopefully they'll sleep a long time. I'm tired.
Been trying to take pictures of them, but for some odd reason my SLR is giving me blue pictures.... weird
Oh yeah, this picture of Malia and Aidan was taken December 25, 2007.

11AM well, Malia did it again, she bit her brother in the same cheek as before, leaving bite marks. She got in trouble for it, but Aidan is still marked for life... (just kidding)

I think I'll start writing down what the babies are doing during the day, that way we can remember things better than just pictures. I'll try to write something on a daily basis, well maybe. ;-)
Today both of them woke up rather early, usually only one of them is awake by the time Jiko leaves for work, but today both were up. They played for a bit, bugged me for a bit, then ate a bit... well Aidan did, Malia refused any food. Thank God she had already finished a bottle. By 8AM they both went back to sleep. Peace and Quiet!!!
Of course in this picture they are only four days old.

Monika and Cane

This was in August of 2006. Cane and I were on our way back from Oregon, and had to change planes in Utah. We had to rush, almost run, to get to the other plane that was to take us all the way home. And then we sat and sat and sat there waiting for them to fix a so-called minor problem with the plane. While we were waiting the pilot came around to all of those who had small children, to suggest we take the kids up to the cockpit and take some pictures.
As you can see, Cane looks great as a pilot.
