It is very difficult to keep Malia out of trouble. Anything she can get into she will go for it, the higher off the ground the better.
And yes, the table is a mess, but more for her to investigate.

WEDNESDAY

Hurray, we are half way through the week! Today is the 80th birthday of our great grandma.
We had a good breakfast this morning, of course we didn't eat as much as we were supposed to. Got to keep Oma on her toes, hehehe

Saturday Is The Day For Building

And there is my brother, he doesn't have a sexy shoulder to show off; he just shows off his messy face. Of course I won't tell you that my Oma cleaned my face on PhotoShop. She didn't do this for my brother so I can make fun of his messy face.
Of course like a typical male, he thinks it's funny to have a messy face. And then he tries to impress Oma by throwing kisses at her.
Darn, why didn't I think of that first.

WooHoo, finally our own pool. And look how cute it is.
Malia and Aidan's first time in their own pool and they had lots of fun.

Thank God It's Friday. But then again, it doesn't mean anything today, because it's DRILL WEEKEND :-( :-( That means I don't get a day off. BOOHOO!!!
But mommy is off today so she is taking care of the babies. Woohoo!!
Aidan is in his favorite position once again.
And now they are both climbing all over mommy. Looking out the window is really a fun thing to do.

Quiet Day

Well, so far it's been a quiet day. I'm actually getting some study time while the little rugrats are playing.
Although at this moment Aidan is sleeping and Malia is playing.

Aidan's picture was taken yesterday; this is now his favorite pose, and he prides himself of doing this hands free.

CUPBOARD TIME

Some more "quality" time spent in the cupboard. LOL

Aidan saw Malia disappearing into the cupboard again, and decided that he simply must get the big bowl before she saw it.

Uh oh, that's a long ways down!!! Maybe I'll just pretend to be busy in here until Oma comes and rescues me, Oma always does come to the rescue.

The Cupboard

Malia is finding it a bit crowded in her hiding place; and it always has to be the second shelf. Aidan hasn't made up there, yet, he tries but Malia is usually in the way. But he doesn't try unless she is already in there, then he wants to follow her.

WEDNESDAY

Well, another day in "THE DAYS OF OUR LIVES" hehehe

Both babies slept in today, for which I am very grateful since I only got about 3 hours of sleep.
They ate their breakfast without any fuss for a change. Aidan wasn't whiny at all (so far), but Malia had the need to be cuddled today, so that's what she got, and for once Aidan didn't throw a jealous fit. Malia is starting to bring little gifts; I don't know if it is because she loves to hear everybody say "Thank you", or what..? She does say "Ta Too" when you give it back to her. So I'm thinking this is a game of giving the gift back and forth, just as long as we both say "Ta Too". Aidan was busy trying to push the highchair around.

The party was July 5, 2008, but their birth date is the 4th.

Thursday

Well, I thought I was going to have the whole day off, since Jiko is home... but no such luck. Jiko had to do a bit more shopping for the birthday party, and I actually convinced her to leave the babies home. It was 100 degrees out there, way too hot for little tykes. So I guess I can't blame her. ;-)
They each got a new toy telephone, a pre-birthday gift; and some new outfits to wear on their birthday. They both look so cute with those little hats that are part of the new outfits. Malia loves to wear anything on her head, (picture proves that) but Aidan isn't having any of that silly stuff. LOL
